booking policies

please read all policies before booking. by booking you are agreeing to follow all policies outlined.

  • all bookings are strictly taken online with no exceptions.
  • if you have not been to me before, please contact me before you book in (instagram @leannehaycocknailartist or text 07393862605).
  • my diary is open to bookings one month in advance
  • bookings can be made up to 24 hours prior to the appointment time
  • please read through all service descriptions prior to booking to ensure that you have booked the correct service and the correct amount of time if you would like nail art. If you don’t book out enough time, we won’t have enough time to add extra on the day. If you are unsure of how much time you need to book, please contact me before booking (instagram @leannehaycocknailartist or text 07393862605)
  • if there are no times available which suit you, you can add yourself to a waiting list to be contacted if a slot becomes available
  • your booking will not be approved until it has been checked over by me to ensure enough time has been booked for the service.
  • you will receive a text message & an email once your appointment has been confirmed, along with a reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
  • you are responsible for keeping all contact information up to date on your file.
  • i will not be held responsible for any loss of correspondence such as appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • before your first appointment with me you will receive a consultation form via text message which needs to be filled in prior to your appointment.
  • 24 hours before every appointment you will receive a covid screening form via text message which needs to be filled in prior to your appointment
  • if you have booked nail art, please send me any inspo pictures before you arrive, ideally with a few days notice.
  • any product applied by yourself or another salon will not be removed at your appointment, normal nail polish included. please make sure that your nails are completely free from product prior to your appointment.
  • please arrive on time to your appointment and wait outside to be called in to reduce client cross overs and to allow time for cleaning.
  • please attend your appointment alone. this is both for social distancing reasons and also as the products and tools which I use are both expensive and dangerous. it is not a safe environment for children on animals.
  • you will be required to provide and wear a mask for the duration of your appointment, unless medically exempt.
  • please try to only bring essential items with you.
  • upon arrival, you will be required to wash your hands for 20 seconds, and your hands may also be sanitised periodically throughout the treatment.
  • once your hands have been washed, please try to not touch your face, hair, clothing or mobile phone to reduce germ spreading. Touching items and reaching into your bag may also affect the prep, bonding and longevity of your nails. i will not be held responsible if the client chooses to.
  • all changes within 48 hours of the appointment time will be classed as a cancellation and will result in the stored card on the client account being charged 50% of the total appointment cost.
  • if you arrive to your appointment and decide you would like a reduced service, you will still be required to pay the full amount booked for originally, so please ensure that you book the correct treatment.
  • there is a link to cancel your appointment at the bottom of every confirmation email. should you need to cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, please contact me directly as soon as possible.
  • please let me know as soon as possible if you are going to be late.
  • if you are over 10 mins late for your appointment, it will be reduced to a shorter treatment or cancelled where this is not possible.
  • if you are late, you will be required to pay for the entire treatment booked in for, regardless of whether you get a reduced treatment or if it gets cancelled.
  • failing to attend an appointment without notice will result in a fee equal to 100% of the appointment cost & risk of not being booked in the future.
  • when booking online, clients will need to provide their card info, this is sometimes referred to as ‘card capture’ or ‘stored cards’. By booking and storing the information, the client grants permission for the card to be used as payment for services and also in the event of cancellation, lateness & no-shows.
  • payments can be made via stored card data on your account, card or bank transfer. I do not accept cash or keep any change on site.
  • if anyone in your household has had symptoms of any illness (ie. colds, flu, covid, stomach bugs etc.) please rearrange your appointment for 7 days after the last symptoms were shown or 14 days for covid.
  • if you arrive to your appointment poorly, then you will be turned away & will be charged 100% of the appointment price.
  • if i get ill, then not only can i not do your nails, but I can’t do anyone else’s either. this is my only source of income so I need to stay as well as possible.
  • please follow the current government guidelines for self isolation after being abroad, and rearrange your appointment if necessary
  • please wear a face covering at all times
  • there is a 15 minute buffer between each client to allow for deep cleaning of the station and tools. if i am still with a client when you arrive, please wait outside.
  • please stay the government recommended distance away from all other staff members and clients in the salon
